제2회 세계시니어시티즌데이 한국개최가 8월 21일 개최됩니다.

논의를 가졌습니다
제2회 세계시니어시티즌데이 준비에 나선 에이지연합은 1회 약속대로 잼버리 축제 장소로 적절한 옥외 장소 선정에 나서고 있습니다.
개최 유망장소 선정과 프로그람1,2 안을 준비해 참여단체 1차회의를 3월 28일 가질 예정입니다.
2024년 세계시니어시티즌데이 주제는 가칭 “우리에게 정해진 미래는 없다, 나이보다 능력” 이라는 주제로 “배벌사-나이와 함께 영글어 간다”로 workshop과 노변정담 시니어 톡 으로 진행될 예정입니다.
또한 작년에 이어 시니어 Hero가 발표됩니다.
2024 시니어 Hero는 나이보다 능력으로 활동하는 6070+중에서 부분별로 전국에서 선정될 예정입니다.
이어 전통음악과 락(Rock)이 어우러진 축제가 펼쳐진다.
축제의 사이에는 야외 바비큐 스탠드에서 참가자를 위한 식음료가 준비된다.
다만 8월 야외 행사는 기후변화로 갑작스런 폭우와 더위가 염려된다. 작년 세계시니어시티즌 행사 시간에도 갑작스런 폭우로 참여자들이비에 흠뻑 젖어 행사장에 들어서는 경험이 있었다.
셰계시니어시니트즌데이는 미국 레이건 대통령에 의해 1988년 선포된 시니어들의 공헌과 노고를 칭송코저 8월 21일을 기념일로 정했습니다.
이는 UN의 10월 1일 국제노인이 날 보다 3년 앞서 제정되었다.
노령화전문 에이지연합이 NGO KARP대한은퇴자협회, 한국노인종합복지관협회 등 노년단체 연대회의와 연계해 2023년 1차대회를 한국사회에 선포했습니다.
베이비부머세대의 급속한 인구 노령화를 겪고있는 한국 사회는 한해 300만명이 넘는 퇴직자를 내쏟고 있습니다.
인구의 노령화와 이에 따른 각종 사회문제는 수학의 리만가설처럼
풀 수 있을 것 같지만 계속되는 우리사회의 난제입니다.
온갖 아디어가 도출되고 있습니다. 분명한 것은 저출산노령사회에서 시니어 인력의 재활용은 장수경제의 으뜸 정책입니다.
은퇴, 은퇴는 새로운 시작 새로운 출발입니다.
아주 끝난게 아닙니다.
이제 까지의 전통적인 생은 태어나 공부하고 근로활동을 하다 퇴직하면 끝나는 일직선 인생이었습니다.
이제 우리의 생은 순환하는 삶으로 바꿔져 가고 있습니다.
퇴직과 함께 오는 은퇴가 새로운 시작 새로운 출발로 제2, 제3, 제4 인생을 만들어 가고 있습니다.
배우며 벌며 사회에 기여하는 장수경제, 배벌사 입니다.
나이먹어 감이 미래가 정해진 암울한 노년기가 아닙니다.
같이해 2024년 세계시니어시티즌데이 한국개최가 희망에 찬 새시새출을 다짐하고 노래하는 한여름 축제로 만들어 갑시다.

The 2nd World Senior Citizen's Day in Korea will be held on August 21st. The preliminary meeting for the event took place on February 22nd at the headquarters of the Korean Association of Older Persons.
The Age Alliance, gearing up for the 2nd World Senior Citizen's Day, is currently in the process of selecting an appropriate outdoor venue for the Jamboree festival, as promised during the 1st conference.
Preparations for the event, including the selection of promising venues and the preparation of Program 1 and 2 options, are underway. The first meeting of participating organizations is scheduled for March 28th.
The theme for the 2024 World Senior Citizen's Day is tentatively "There is No Predetermined Future for Us, Only Abilities Beyond Age." The event will include workshops and senior talks under the theme "Ageing with Wisdom - Moving Forward with Age." Additionally, a Senior Hero will be announced, chosen from individuals aged 60-70+ who demonstrate exceptional abilities beyond their age, across different regions.
The festival will feature a combination of traditional music and rock performances, with outdoor barbecue stands providing food and beverages for participants.
However, concerns arise about the outdoor event in August due to unpredictable weather conditions caused by climate change. Last year, sudden downpours during the World Senior Citizen's Day event left participants drenched.
World Senior Citizen's Day was proclaimed by President Reagan of the United States in 1988 to honor the contributions and efforts of seniors, designating August 21st as the commemorative day, three years ahead of the UN's International Day of Older Persons on October 1st. The Age Platform, in collaboration with NGOs such as the KARP and the Korean National Council on Aging, declared the 1st conference in Korean society in 2023.
South Korean society, experiencing rapid population ageing, witnesses over 3 million retirees annually. Population ageing and associated social issues persist as ongoing challenges in our society. Various ideas are being proposed, but it is clear that the re-utilization of senior human resources in a low fertility and ageing society is a key policy for longevity economics.
Retirement is not the end; it's a new beginning, a fresh start. It's not merely the conclusion of one's journey. In the past, life followed a linear path: born, educated, worked, then retired. But now, our lives are transitioning into a cyclical existence.
With retirement comes a chance for new beginnings, creating the second, third, and fourth stages of life. Engaging in lifelong learning, contributing to society - this is the essence of longevity economics, the philosophy of "배벌사 (Learning & Earning Longer)"
Growing older doesn't mean a predetermined gloomy future in our senior years. Let's make the 2024 World Senior Citizen's Day in Korea a vibrant summer festival, filled with hope and new beginnings.
